Ivana Raucci— Painter

Artist Ivana Raucci was born and raised in the Czech Republic, coming to the US when she turned 20 years old, to study and earn her degree in Art education at the Wisconsin University in Milwaukee. She has put herself through the studies by running her wedding alteration business full time, which she naturally kept even after completion of her degree, in support of the ever-growing range of art disciplines she wanted to explore. Her curiosity still drives her today, even though she is currently focusing solely on honing her watercolor skills in the newly rebuilt Alta’s Cottage ; joining, collaborating and finding inspiration from the other artists at Spruce Forest Artisan Village. She is inviting you to visually experience the versatility of watercolor, the possibilities of unusual color combinations, and the magic of their transparency.
