Spruce Forest is located on the National Road at the Casselman River, one mile east of downtown Grantsville, MD.

From I-68, take Exit 19 towards Grantsville. Go two blocks to the blinking light. Make a right and follow Alt Route 40 (National Pike) to the bottom of the hill. The Artisan Village is on the left, across the parking lot from Penn Alps Restaurant.


From I-68, take exit 22, 219 North toward Meyersdale, one block. At the traffic light at Rte 40, make a left and go down hill 2 miles. The Artisan Village is on the right, across the parking lot from Penn Alps.

Other landmarks include Stanton's Mill, built in 1797, The Historic Casselman Bridge, a single-span stone bridge built in 1813, and Penn Alps Restaurant, a former stage coach stop, now a restaurant and craft shop.
